The Dementia Friends Informational Session is a one-hour class, offering education about dementia, what it’s like to live with dementia, and actions individuals can take to support people living with dementia in their community. Offered the first Friday of each month via Teams from 12:00 - 1:30 pm.

About the Event
The Dementia Friends Session is a one-hour class, offering education about dementia, what it’s like to live with dementia, and actions individuals can take to support people living with dementia in their community. The goal of the class is to increase the individual's confidence in explaining dementia to others as well as becoming more alert to those in the community who may need assistance as they navigate their environment with dementia. Those who complete the class receive a certificate of completion and are added to our Sponsorship page. If you're a business, have five or more employees complete this class to have your logo added to our Sponsorship page.
This class is offered the first Friday of each month via Teams from 12:00 - 1:30 pm.
You do not need a Teams account to attend virtually.
